Family Learning
Albion's "Family Matters: Learning Through Football" programme welcomes boys and girls of school age accompanied by a parent to attend the fun non-traditional learning environment of a football club.
The five week courses are run by the Albion coaches and tutors and are based at BHAFC Withdean, Worthing FC, Bognor Regis Town FC and Hastings United FC Study Support Centres.
What
The course aims to bring family members together through football and help them have fun and improve their learning. Each session is split into two parts; the first is based indoors with participants working as a family group to complete various tasks, including communication, team building, Numeracy and Literacy; the second part is based outside and focuses on a number of different aspects of football, from fun games to coaching and refereeing.
When
Two hours after school, over five weeks.
Where
The programmes run at BHAFC Withdean, Worthing FC, Bognor Regis Town FC and Hastings United FC Study Support Centres.
Who
School-age children accompanied by their parent. Each course will focus on children of a certain age range. Please enquire for details.
Cost
The programme is completely free of charge. It is funded by the Football Foundation.
